A 10-volume set of the works of Alexander Pope. Each volume bears the markings of two previous owner: a signature dated 1857 and a book plate from William Kurtz Wimsatt, a Georgetown alumus and former Sterling Professor at Yale. Volume 1 contains a notation that the set sold for $35 at one point and includes one copied passage.
